Join a Global Team as a Design Manager – Drive Innovation and Excellence.

Tasks

Responsible for the quality, progress, and cost control of design work.
Finalize design processes, guidelines, and documents, including HLD and LLD templates, in collaboration with the customer and subcontractors.
Plan, monitor, and manage all design tasks, ensuring timely submission, updates, and approval in line with project timelines.
Review HLD, LLD, and BOM, optimize design solutions, and ensure costs remain reasonable.
Provide design training and case-sharing for subcontractors, closely managing and minimizing design changes.
Update UPL material items and maintain accurate material datasheets.
Track material inventory, usage, deliveries, quality, and compliance; manage material orders based on project design and schedule.
Produce internal and external reports aligned with project plans.
Support sales and bidding processes, including identifying new business opportunities, preparing RFIs, RFQs, and conducting workshops or clarifications.
Strengthen cooperation with customer design approvers and third-party designers.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proactive, self-driven, with strong communication skills.
Proficient in English and Hungarian.
Design and management experience in OSP and fixed-line turnkey projects preferred.
Familiarity with OSP and fixed-line technologies (FTTX, GPON, MSAN).
Knowledge of local engineering and design standards, specifications, and practices.
Strong customer service mindset, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and adaptability.
